I write, cut that down to half, load it into substack, chop 30% more and when I'm done it's a whisper of its former self....Brutal!
But you have a nice flow of words and that works better with the poetic feel of it.
The line, "we got the giggles" put a smile on my face. As I can still hear your giggles in my head, they are infectious my friend! 😉😃
