i like your garden and the theme of letting go / that's what i've been experiencing too from the sloughing off of old scabs as my abrasions heal from my encounter with the flash flood to letting go of personal baggage that i've been dragging around for way too long / let go of the past / don't have expectations about the future then you're free / you're in the moment / that's become my objective

I love this Rohn, thank you for sharing. Can totally see a flash flood of personal baggage heading out on the tide. This is my goal too, and it's gonna take some time, but a worthy practice and use of time and energy. I think we get back energy when we can drop this stuff.

This hit my heart home. Thank you for finding words and your most beautiful way of braiding the dear, tendrils reaching out, never missing a connection.

I've been carrying it around for a while, the feeling with some words and I think by holding it and noticing it, it helped me reach out and also receive. I like the idea of braiding the dear, oh yes.

a "sloughing off" of uniquely and unsentimental appreciation of change, mortality....i could only wish to be more like your garden🙏

I know- the garden laughs and is full of herself and unsentimental. Liked your summary! Hope you are getting set up to be warm and cozy this winter.

Hi friend ☺

Your message about honoring and transitioning really hit home with me today. As we had a service for my F.I. L

Alfred. He was 96 yrs old and lived life on his terms until the very end. We spent hours taking to old friends and relatives that knew of his long life in Corvallis.

It was nice to hear other people's stories since I've only known him for 24 yrs.

Your pics are gorgeous 😍 and I'm curious about where your new work is at? BTW another thing about the word Dead, is that I often feel like we can leave behind our own painful history, if we think of it as 'Dead to me.' Then move on to new memories that will take over.

Have a fabulous week! Edi

Hey Edi, always love your comments : ) Alfred sounds like he had a good life, I am glad you got to know him. My new position is working with the county. I will be at their new clinic in Cottage Grove doing acupuncture. Maybe sometimes at Brookside clinic in town too. Everyone has been really nice and I'm excited to be doing this work.
