And all the ducks and ducklings, the trout, the osprey and the turtle most of all said, under their breath: oh LOOK! Bunky came out to the river today! is she ready to make her life the wholeness that it is singing for? we will show ourselves, we will swim with her, we will make room for her, and all her stuff stuff stuff...we will always be here, and, she will come to us again, in the deep of night

I did feel welcomed and included. The first one was a huge heron at the point where the slow channel joined the river.

Well yes actually I am hungry to be seen as I think secretly we all are? And to see others.

just wonderful

all of this mary anne and your voice resonant of the mood...especially the breathy smirk after the

background after describing peeing in the willows here in Michigan they call it the "You Pee" (U.P.) for just that reason

ie you can do it with lack of population basically in middle of road! 🤣

as an old guy bladder conscious hmmm maybe why i moved u.p. here

I think I wondered why I felt I needed to mention the pee part but it was true, it happened, and it was behind the willows. She peed behind the willows above the rocks by the water while no one else was anywhere to be seen. The middle of the road option sounds daring and freeing!

What a wonderful way to heal your nerves. I felt as I was right there with you.

The high-school debate (as I call it) we all watched on TV was a reminder that neither candidate fits our needs. It was like watching two guys argue about who is the nicer one 🙄

Where is our BEST democratic candidate hiding? MARRYANN FOR PRESIDENT?!

YEAH, and you will be my VICE-P. Solid team from a solid background, with brains and experience (and pizazz). I must say, I would hate debating and I do think Old Yeller would be hard to debate against as he is a lie cannon (borrowing the term) on speed with no shame. However, Biden whiffed it hard.

If I had to debate old yeller, I'd probably slap his face and tell him to stop feeding his MAGA base so much Kool-aid 🙄

They're all getting

MAGA-betes drinking that stuff (borrowed that term from my B.I.L )

Thank you for taking us there with you. Choice words made for clear visual, though nothing compared to being there I'm sure. They all saw you coming and showed up in special ways to give rise to calm and going with the flow. A beautiful gift to share, in your words, your day.

Thank you- you never know how things will go or flow but I would say I've never been disappointed by paddling this part of the river! Hope you can get out and be with your creek - that's a magical place.

Maryann. Thank you for this! I needed it today. I should have been on that river, paddling too. To calm my nerves. Everything seemed not quite right today and someone yelled at me. And I yelled back. Not good. Hoping to resent tomorrow.

Oh, I am sorry to hear of your stressful day. I am sorry someone yelled at you. I think tomorrow can go better. Btw, they still have not cut the tree down that I wrote about a while back.

Love to you, Mary Ann

Thanks, Mary Ann. And I meant to write "I hope to reset tomorrow."

Nice to know about that tree! I wondered. I'd like to visit it, maybe tomorrow. Would you mind giving me the location?

Funny as I auto-corrected to reset anyway when I read it! The tree is on 25th Ave. It is between Alder and Kincaid, on the city strip. When at Alder and 25th, go east. It will be leaning over the sidewalk!
