Wow a remodel how exciting! I think you know what needs to be hidden in the walls? A message to the future of how this yellow cheeto baby wasn't your fault.

And how they should never make that mistake again 😒 🙄

I envision you and another, in a warmly lit room in late evening, ensconsed in overstuff chairs, quietly taking turns reading smutty passages to each other, in highly affected tones…a bracing gin and tonic close at hand…occasional twinkling glances at the camera…posted as a short film, in your blog space-

hide some treasures :: gold doubloons and jewels and diamond rings so when someone remodels in 50 years they will be delighted / if you don't have gold doubloons and diamond rings you could fake it with paste jewelry and painted sticks and such / this rohn report contains an account of two sisters discovering a treasure chest that their brothers had hid for them to find https://rohn.substack.com/p/assemble-the-world?utm_source=publication-search / nice post / you'll have to show us the finished product

Yay!! It’s happening. Love the time capsule you found in the walls. Now to determine what you will leave for the next inhabitant.

in one week so much accomplished! And for sure by now even more as the momentum of spring unfurls. This all reminded me of all the things found tucked between rough sawn studs on shelves of blocking behind faded gray tufts of insulation....once removing suspended ceiling a bag of marijuana we dated by newspaper clippings, another a small metal box full of ancient and exotic rusty wood working bits and always remnants of measurements in pencil written on sides of studs, headers. I cant imagine piercing dirt with a shovel thru the snow and frozen ground for a few weeks here but take heart in fact steelhead will push soon up rivers and the goldfinches and snowy woodpeckers have found feeders. The small victories are important.

Changes (big and little) are the hardest-but the most exciting! Even freeing! Can’t wait to see the finished product. Having a Remodeled Party? 🎉

Birds are nesting here-I think they might be making announcements-perhaps of births
