My heart goes out to you! 🥰. There are no words to console someone enduring the huge loss of a beloved family member! The best thing is to hold dear the knowledge you both had the best life together possible! And she understands you were doing the best you could for her, tho it was heartbreaking 😥
I was never along on any of Lily’s adventures, but always enjoyed her at the events at your home! She was always a gracious, welcoming hostess and I looked forward to seeing her there every time. 💐
Thanks, Leslie, she actually loved parties and seemed very at home in groups of people milling about! I know you love all of the animals you tend so beautifully.
Oh dear god we love Lilybear! When healthier she would get so very excited if I came to visit, and her lil nails just tippity tappity on the floor, jump up on the couch to settle next to me. it always felt so very special to be loved by this substantial little being. and she did have so many great adventures with you, and got to befriend soup to nuts from hither to yon- a greet and a small guardian too. and by god she even got along with all manner of kitties. you both did very right by each other, and, there is nothing at all better than that. how nice you got to be family- blessed be
Oh my hearts hurts for you :( I've lost a few great companions too. I hope time will heal your energy soon. What a very lucky pup to have you in her life.
Oh, sweet friend, I know this pain... and it is SO awful. I am very, very sorry for your loss. I lost my beloved Dani over a year ago and miss her every day. Thank you for letting your friends know so we can at least send you love and prayers. Kathleen just adopted a little guy at PetSmart that looks so much like Lily. I hope I can give you a nice, long hug in person the next time we are in Eugene. Love you, Cristianne (Colin too)
Thank you for your kind note! And thanks for telling me about Dani. I'd love to see you and Colin when you are in town! Happy to hear of Kathleen's new little dog!!
P.S. Your tribute was beautiful.

Aww, as someone whose backyard is littered with graves I feel your sadness. What a lovely being she was. ♥️
Thank you, Ruth!

I'm glad you got to hang out with each other. She loved going to see you too and exploring your yard and house.
