hi mary ann / just reading thru your archive and leaving comments / couldn't comment on 'neighborhood party' because of the paywall but didn't see any way to be a paid subscriber / on the tool bar of your substack editor is a drop down menu called 'buttons' it includes buttons you can add to your post inviting people to subscribe / comment / share / that would be convenient then i could leave my comment for your neighborhood party which i really enjoyed / makes me want to move to eugene / maybe after oregon washington and northern california secede from the union and start their own country based on bio-regionalism and sustainable energy
yeah / these days some ridicule what is true because it has power / like 'an inconvenient truth' / like being 'woke' / an insidious development in my view / control the language and you can control people's minds / great post / thanks
Beavers want to smash the patriarchy. And they quietly sing spirituals when they are busy about their days. Well, they don't do anything that isn't spiritual. They are aware of this truth, but, it doesn't give them swelled heads. They remain very down to earth. They are God as God moves through the waters of our life, nudging here, and building there- it's all a prayer.
